I'm actually working on it today. The hull is painted and ready to go except for turf. I'm cleaning up the pin holes in the hood (my fault).

I'm not good at body work and I don't really like doing it, that is the set back. I should have the ski done in time to learn how to ride before surf season comes back though!

I've finally put some serious time and energy into this ski. I'm now cutting corners in an effort to get it on the water. Since the ultimate goal is to deconstruct this new ski into a pile delaminated fiberglass and oxidized aluminum powder whats the difference if the ski starts out as a 7-8 out of 10? I think it'll be a solid 6 on it's way to 0 once I get it on the water. I expect to be riding next weekend. Pics soon to come.

There are no motor shots because I'm just putting in a stockish 61x. I'm building a 61x/62t w/ a cheater pipe but can't wait to ride again. I expect to be riding/deconstrucing my ski this weekend after a couple more odds and ends.

no joke, just a clean plate to start my new surf build with. I haven't missed much this hurricane season and surf season should be starting in a few months so the surf build should go nicely once the waves get here.
