That billet Air Time Products cylinder looks real nice but I'm surprised that they're using a girdled head on it.

Do they have any plans for a power valve version?

Also do you know if its taller then 119mm and what kind of sleeves it will be using?

Do you have any idea how much it's going to sell for?

Do you mean 8 port like a Lamey? I've never heard of anything like that, but someone said that Watcon plans to cast a WestCoast cylinder for the Kawi 750/800 with triple exhaust ports, soon.

Robertg, those cases came with the Able cylinder I ran last year, but I ran it with 62T cases for more power (I had them port matched the same way).

njfl, did they say they've tried it? If they're just making the prototypes, it sounds like they've never tried it.

I hate to post aain in this thread so soon but yeah Watcon did have some of those West Coast super cylinders on eBay a while back. I think Pete Jacobs told me he was quoted like 3k for a whole set up. I want one but not for that much. I have a Kawasaki 1100 ZXi complete engine I can rebuild for cheaper!


As for the bore spacing... I guess someone will just have to start making cases and cranks to go along with these cylinders! Maybe DI is the way? I never understood why it never preformed as well as a carbed 2 stroke. You guys do realize that unless someone starts making these engines in 10, 15, 20, 25?? years the two stroke as we know it will all but gone.

It probally wont be legal to make a complete 2 stroke would it?..Although Im willing to bet you could get around those kinds of laws by using some OEM parts...to make them just aftermarket support

No its not Wax thats difficult to achieve with billet, but I have managed to get more transfer area than a seven port cylinder.

i tried to get one done as well i drew it all up but getting the angle back on the small ports was to hard to do on the mill

I'm using a girdled head because I think it looks pretty, no other reason.

Yes it is taller than 119mm, it's for an 8mm stroker with longer rods

That is exactly what it stands for.
