Well I took the plunge and purchased was thruster B pipe , any do’s and don’ts you guys would suggest, I’m running stock head jetted stock 38’s don’t really wanna go to the fuss of running dual cooling from pump, hit me with water routes etc. TIA
I would add that the Wax pipe uses the FX-1 chamber which makes a little more power than the Limited chamber. Factory Pipe does not offer the FX-1 chamber anymore.
only one way to route your cooling with a single line, through the engine then through the bottom of the head pipe, out of the top with a tee on the outlet with one end going to a pisser and the other into the stinger.
The outlet of the chamber. There's a tube that injects water into the outlet where the exhaust goes into the waterbox both to cool the exhaust hose and actually injecting water into the stinger adds back pressure at the outlet which will increase rpm and horsepower on the top end. When tuned properly. Many people use an adjustable flow control valve to regulate water going into the stinger. It cuts water off at idle up to 25-3000ish rpm to allow the engine to Rev up. Adding water to the stinger I the upper rpms will act as making the diameter smaller which will increase back pressure and make more power in the upper rpm range. Others have either added a restrictor or tap the water line for a mikuni main jet. Same result in the end just different method of doing so.
