WB1 surf reinforcement

I just starting rebuilding a 93' Blaster, and was looking for a little advice on where the stock hull needs reinforcement for surf riding? I've always riden standups and this is going to be a new challenge.:splatt:

the main area to reinforce is the rear transom. the lip is pried away everytime you land and that get ugly quick. i actually filled the lip and sloped it so it was not a 90 degree angle.

the other area is both sides on the bottom section right beside the motor. i think this is stressed from the motor mounts and it causes it to be weak.

Anyone else running into hood cracking? I've got a couple running up to where the bars mount.

def cut flush the rear lip. thats just asking for carnage. il get some pics
