my blaster ran great for 2 days then great on my 1st ride of the day. then fires up great but when i get on the throttle it seems to be held back and doesn't want to plane out. if i bounce it i can get it to plane sometimes and run great till the next time i slow. i only whiegh 140 so i know thats not it. any help would be great!!!

hmm is this your first blaster? have you riden one before and if so how does yours compare? are you sure it has the right motor? do you know what the compression is in the cylinders? does it feel like its just bogging down? could be carb tuning, the screws can and do walk their way out and cause your tuning to be off. is there something stuck in the pump? do you have a choke or primer? maybe the choke is left on cause the ski to bogg due to too much fuel,run rich.
this is my 2nd blaster, this one is slower but my old one had a full race riva motor. it ran tits for a tank and a half of fuel then started running wierd. i'm very fimilair with 2stroke motors and it's acting like a broken or worn reed.but i haven't torn into it yet. yes the screws may have backed out but it ran fine i shut it off and the next day it acted up. the performance should of dropped while riding. choke is not sticking. fuel flow seems great. i was hoping for so advice if this is a comon problem. also the start/kill buttons shorted the only way it would run is with a piece of tape around the handle bars? all wires look fine.... ????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew a guy who had a similar issue with his SJ, ended up being a partially clogged pilot jet.
did this fix it??
I have a wb1 and its also sluggish and will only hit about 30-35mph.... I need to check compression and rebuild the carb.

I wonder if he fixed it or not ...its funny to me the way he said he had to hop it to get to to plane out .amd runs great on the trailer .. friend of mine had the same issue wouldnt plane out until u hopped it but after the hop it would rip ..what I told him is to check the plugs and see if there wet or milky color ..he said yeah kinda and it turned out to be a head gasket cracked and when u hopped it ..it would rev the motor high enough to burn the lil bit of water out but when u slowed down it would do it all over again ..just my two cents
