WCF top deck conversion

im back from vacation so this build will actually see some progress gonna start working on it this week i have all the resin and fiberglass so hopefully by the end of the week ill have one hull instead of two halves

Its a lot of work, but it will be way stonger! RN Superjet top decks are chopper gun with tons of air pockets.. Complete crap! Have you ever notice the red tracer lines?

Cant wait to see more work done.

i weighed the topdeck today 23 lbs and my bottom was 57 with some foam left in it and hopefully it will be together this week

some progress
i cut the nose off and trimmed the firewall and fitted the topdeck were gonna start glassing the nose in this week also fit the one way valve run the pvc for the trim and patch a bunch of holes and fix the corner

you gain alot of strenght over a oem topdeck from the get go.also their is alot of options you have the ability to do while the topdeck is off

options such as defoaming, scuppers trim cable line ect...the areas you really want to seal up good so that foam stays dry

you can reinforce the motor mount areas and set it up to hold any powerplant you want... i know a blaster that is set-up like that

ive been really busy lately and havent had time with school starting and homework and stuff to post pics and updates. right now i have the scupper and trim line ready to glue and
just preping the bottom for paint ill get pics tommorow hopefully
i really want this ski to be at the daytona freeride

you can do this all with out removing top deck. jacob 06 even has xft scupper tunnels ,xft trim with tube installed with removing top deck.

yeah but it is easier to do it with the top deck off and your are more flexible with install options

It is allot of work but it is worth it for the knowledge and feeling you get from building it.
