update

well i had to call it a day today just got out of the lake because my steering cable broke and my buddys chinpad got torn off his fx1 from a sub well here are the pics on the build

the new round nose i still need to lay some glass under for extra strength

the corner that needed to be fixed

the gas tank with the filler neck and gas cap

and the bottom getting ready for paint

While you have it all stripped down, I'd suggest yanking out the crappy OEM plastic pump shoe and throwing in an aluminum Jet Dynamics shoe.

Defiantly change it. nose came out nice. Keep it up.

Nothing wrong with the OEM pump shoe , unless you hit something with the intake grate . I have never broken one and have had some pretty strong motors.

idk what type of green it is. its gonna look raw with the lime green cylinders and fuel line and helmet

i REALLY REALLY hope its gonna be ready for daytona:fingersx::fingersx: the motor should be done soon a 62t/61x big bore 760 w/ported cylinders and cases, twist girdled head, and dual 44 black jack carbs :biggthumpup:

update for the first time in forever ..well i got the hull together with the scupper and trim tube, and the hull is reinforced, the handlepole bracket area was reinforced ,the handlepole bracket was put on ,the motor put together and inside, the electrical mounted, the water box and front exhaust mounted, and the inside of the hull painted.

we finally got the motor pipe everything inside the ski and started it up today for the first time !!! :headbang::headbang::Banane25::Banane09::biggrin:

also ordered black and lime green turf footholds should be installed next week along w/ the pump but were waiting on new seals

a word of caution on the lime hydro-turf.... it turns into an ugly ass mint green in less than a year if stored outdoors.

In the video it looks like you have a nasty exhaust leak in the bilge. I would double and triple check that...

it wont change as fast, but it slowly fade little by little each time its exposed to sunlight.

7 days a week in the sun = faded in less than a year
1-2 days a week riding (in the sun), but otherwise covered = faded in less than 3.5 - 7 years
