What size pump are you running?Still rocking and modifying my 2013 for flat water. Last year it was 49's, RRP pipe, chops -6 off poll, move footholds forward via some bracket machining. This year it was bigger engine, bigger ignition, bigger pump and nozzles, defin reduction, modify water box to clear Dasa cases, modify footholds to raise them. This winter finish getting all the mid and top end form the pipe via chamber tuning, finish tuning the pump, try no grate, MIGHT chop poll 1 or 2 more inches. Extend ride plate 1 inch to flush, currently -1 from flush, wedges below holds, rear bow eye. These pics from yesterday, with all billet engine and stainless pump and limited slip tanks and glass hull surf layup RTR weight is 280

Thinking of either a lay down pipe or bigger pump for next year.
Well said and the ski looks killer... If you have the time for a couple pics of the splash shield would be coolVisions are definitely the most underrated hulls out there imo everyone that rides mine absolutely loves how it handles and performs!! My vision is the old optima racing black 2.0 -4 but I just had painted with imron and added a carbon hood also I added a build in splash guard to the little step in the bow right before it goes under. Basically Its a fiberglass strip so that lip was extended out making a pocket to throw the water out to the sides vs. fwd and into your face it stops about 80% of the bow spray. These are the only pictures I have right now if any of you are interested I can take some better ones later Just let me know.

It's a 148 max... Prior to that was a 144 solas & 11/17 hooker with a 200 psi +8 mil 865cc Lamey cylindered engine on a bored b-pipe.
Then I went lay down Pipe, RRP, and was like wtf! I felt dooped and regreted how long I had waited to go with a Lay down pipe.
I'm inviting all you vision owners and others to come and demo the new vision X in Daytona .
Hit me up on here if you wish to take it for a spin
Sure!Hey Steve,
Could you give a rundown on your new Vision X please? Very curious to hear the changes from the Vision 2.0 and how it rides compared to the 2.0.
Thanks!
Sure!
New Vision X :
- about 4 inches shorter
-hull is about 2 inch wider with re designed side rails for better stability and handling
-tray is much wider and side gunwale are much lower for that super comfortable and secure feel
-more rocker in the front
-adjustable hull/ ride plate to fit your riding style better
-redesigned pump intake duct that accept 144 and 155mm
-all hulls are now vacuum resin infused
About 4 inches shorter than the -4 vision.-Is that 4 inches shorter than the std length Vision 2.0 or the -4 Vision 2.0?
-What is the average lead time needed to complete a hull?
