Never ridden a Rev but I've delt with Jeff. Awesome communication, prompt shipping, and an overall great experience. @Ducky @SmittySX @chadman154 and I have all been very pleased with our experience over the past few months.

Been ridding an FX1 for years and want something more stable but also nimble in the surf! There are so many options for after market hulls but I'm limited buy my budget! Jeff offered me a great price on a hull just want some feed back from other riders! ZZylstra thanks for the feedback!

I owned a REV for a while, while I did love the way it looked, I would say it's not different enough from a Superjet to really be worth the extra cost. Unless Jeff changed his construction on this hull, there are a couple areas that could use improvement in my opinion (inner hull liner and bulkhead are prone to separation from the rest of the hull). It's a cool hull, but there are better hulls with more progressive design that will do pretty much everything better.
Long story short, knowing what I know now, I would buy an $800-$1000 RN hull over a $2000 REV.

I spoke to Pete Mac and he had good things to say about Jeff and his hulls! I called and talked to Jeff ( he did call me back the next day ) and he recommend his RIP hull for the type of riding that I plan to do! I'm still shopping around for other hulls and getting input from other riders!

The RIP is an awesome hull. Just don't expect to go WOT on it.

Do yourself a favor and get out and ride some hulls. The rip is good if you plan on riding just outside of the no wake zone, its not a good dual purpose hull and it rides very nose high. Still can't figure out why jeff put a splash guard on these things.... The boy above will say they aren't nose high and ride fantastic but he has limited experience, also weighing 130 soaking wet will help keep the nose down.

I'd suggest the Rok. If you even have any surf in mind don't go out there on a Fw hull. You'll frustrate yourself and hate life. I actually like the way the roks ride and a buddy flips his no trim 61x in small surf. Plus a fw hull without a big motor is a dead end road. You are limited of chasing any boat, can't ride far or long distance, yet sucks in surf. Where least a longer hull with a 701 can get you to the large hits no issue or fights.

I agree with this 100%, a REV will absolutely be no better in the surf than a RN superjet. Something slightly shorter and with a very slight amount of front rocker will make surf rides more enjoyable. A light, flatwater hull will wear you out and get bounced around too much to be good for surf riding. If you are in the "waves are jump" camp, then it doesn't really matter which hull you go with, those guys will claim a BOB is a good surf ski.
