Custom/Hybrid WDK Rev winter project 95% done!

I put my rev together at the beginning of the year and I am very happy. That looks like the same ride plate I have, and it works well. Everybody told this ski will ride nose high and I am not having any problems with it. Toby is right it will chuck you or toss you off quick. I look forward to the finished product. I know the WDK has a funny reputation on here but this hull is made to ride in all conditions.

I had to buy based on reviews on this list as there are no stand up riders in my area. The worst thing I read about the WDK seemed to be getting one. I originally wanted a BOB, but after a few phone calls I was talked out of it since they all said it was a trick only ski (gen1) and I like to cruise around as well as trying to learn the fancy stuff. most of the other hulls were still out of my price range. This hull seems to be a lot lighter than my SN and I am sure it will take a while to figure it all out. x-metal waterbox should be in tomorrow and hopefully I can run it in the driveway and then wait the 130+ days till spring.

Very exciting. One thing I am curious is maybe it will ride nose high with that water box. I was very tempted to get an AM waterbox. No matter what that ski LOOKS SICK !!!

Your place ment of the flame arrestor is better than 180 deg.( water will splash up from your coupler) Most grind the bottom of the plastic and run it over the head(90deg from where pictured) , so less chance of water getting in your carb.. good looking boat ! matches the rest of your vehicles!
