Back a few months ago l bought Riverrat's Rok hull when Hunter put it up for sale.l switched everything off my Stunt hull (and by the way,it is for sale!) except for the xscream motor.Thought l would try to learn the rok hull with less power.Got it all set up and l got to ride it a few times before surgery to my hand.

l just now felt well enough to start work on the ski.Sjetrider saw a picture of the rok with the ac pole mounted way back from the nose.He asked why l mounted the pole back so far.Long story short l ended up buying an rrp pole from him.And Brian is great to buy stuff off of!

l had to glass up the other holes from the previous bracket mounts.l didn't think l would not be able to match the gelcoat,so l used some blue/black carbon left over from the stunt hole build. The job turned out just ok,l'm not happy with how easy it is for the fibers to separate,so it's not a 100% in the looks department. But it will work.

The first couple of pics with the ac pole mounted back in Oct.

Cutting off the corner made it work.l still need to turf parts of the tank where it will cause a problem. The tank will hold right around 4 gals.

looking good. your about two steps ahead of me on your build so please keep all the useful knowledge coming. Im scared about how my tank is going to fit. looks to be built the same way minus the cut corner (Brian 615 make it?)

The cut corner made all the diff in the world for fit with the b pipe. l think Brian got the idea from the guy that originally built the tank.

Nice tank. Nice ski too. Bringing them to Daytona?

l still can't ride yet Shane. My doc said "no way"

Nice build

Thanks Josh!

oh great. now your scaring me. you wouldnt have a pic with the pipe in so i see what im up against or how much a hassle it would be to change the tank.

This is the only pic l have right now and the engine is out of the ski.

Small problem on the tank.lf you do have a issue, just take to a "good" welding shop that can weld aluminum.Cut the corner and reweld.

Yeah a new tank is on my build list for this winter. I got myself a big bore and that thing just drinks gas. I'm worried I'm going to run out of fuel in Daytona before I'm tired.

tell me about it, i ran a kart tank before and vowed never to do it again, but all these alum tanks are big bucks i cant justify on a tank, we are normally close to shore anyway

coung said he gets 45 mins on his 865 rickter with a sj tank with is close in weight to the rok. So with a cart tank... You do the math.... Fyi wh test fitted a 550 tank with a bpipe and were able to get it in with the motor bolted in. I believe the 55@ tank is 4. Something gallons
