Couple quick things. The ski does porpoise, you should have seen me the first time taking it of his trailer...it was BAD. The more you ride it you learn to control it, I had about 10-15 minutes on it before it got dark. It handles really well for a boat with a bottom deck that is about 5'10" (smaller than my arm span). I wish I had more time on the ski but my overall impression is I could really get used to it and have a lot of fun (that's what it's all about, right??) I have not ordered one yet though. I look forward to videos of it in action from world finals with people who can actually ride stand ups well

It's all about getting time on it too, most people who ride a superjet the first time porpose all over the place. From the looks of it I would give up a little engine room space for a little more tray. Bouncing around with your feet in the footholds makes you look like a dork.

61 x with singles carb. The 44mm can took a and we had to put a 46 on and it wasn't running right... And that river was moving pretty fast too.

Also forgot this demo was set up for an E motor and the 61x is set back 3"to where it would be. They put a 701 in instead for demo purposes but the motor should be 3" forward.
Makes good sence. Rode a rickter last weekend and the best way to plain out on glassy water without bouncing around was both feet side by side in the front of the tray.
I am sure after a weekend on it most could make it work.
I first day I put my Footrocket in the water I had a good feel for it in the 60 yard ride from the launch to my spot on the beach, learning more about it all of the time, Just sayin
It took me a full Summer to REALLY get used to my hull. And I assume that is how it should be....Ratti just posted his ski as for sale after WF...and stated in the ad he has been riding it for 3 months. I assume it takes that long to REALLY get used to it....then compete...then sell....then try something else...
