Yeah the other one has that plastic liner though. I'd rather not mess with it.
Yeah, but those will not swell or corrode.....
I'm going back to the WSM plastic one. My OEM wear ring has corroded and swolen since the Daytona ride, now the impeller is scraping it. :banghead: I always flush the pump out really well I thought.

I just picked up a new one of those off of godocgo. I wasn't sure whether they were any good or not. I like the idea of it being plastic and easily replaceable. How does it run though? Do you notice any difference between a plastic wear ring and a SS wear ring?

I run one, and have had no problems with it so far. Time will tell.

Will the plastic one deal well with frequent seashell/sand intake?

It's tough plastic. Mine was on my squarenose when I bought it, no telling how long it had been there. I used it for about 2-3 years. It was only slightly scratched, no deep gouges. I did not notice any diff between the scratched plastic one and a used OEM one as far as cavation or performance.
