Hey man, not sayin' I dont like riding with ya.......

I just dont like to have to worry about safety when Im out there.....there are certain things that an ocean boat MUST have

like it or not, 9/10 experienced surf riders would tell you that ski was not: "surf ready"

and I will call anyone out on that....am, pro or average joe......You can ask Ewok about that one! :tapedshut:

Thats cool... you can make me out to look like whatever you want on here. The only thing that made me not well equipped was the simple fact that i did not have a hood latch.... your right, I should have re-layed up my WDK hood, and reinstalled a hood latch (from where my old latch ripped through)...

I rode so many times in big surf without a latch, i figured what the hell, thats why I have hood straps.... Like I said shiet happens, if it bothers you that bad start a new thread about how un-prepared cracker's boat is .... this is a weigh in thread! Back on topic please. :argue:

dude, your boat was NOT surf ready from the gitgo........

and Im not talking about losing your hood....which you wouldnt have had you been prepared

-no hood latch
-no f/a's--that bull********e tupperware might keep a SOME of the water out, but the sludge that coated the inside of it says different--ever seen a motor backfire thru the carbs?
-no bilges (stock or electric)
-no chinpad
-a worthless hoodseal
-no tow loops (until I gave them to you)

weight DOES matter....but not as much in the surf

there is more to life than "going big"

you put others in danger this weekend by your lack of preparedness......Need I mention riding with no life jacket or helmet???

call me a dick, but in this case Im right!
I dork you sound like my mom

lol, I dont think i saw Scott once when all this happened, I must have been getting to much air.... he couldnt bare watching :haha: I was just trying to show everyone how my boat does not need foam to stay afloat... haha

You must relise we have two totally different riding styles as well..... most everything I do is WFO off the lip... I need all the boat control I can get when Im 15+ ft off the top of a wave... the only way to do that is by riding a lighter boat, that I can throw around easier, and use body english.

Maybe your right, my riding has nothing to do with my boat.... I guess Im all skill :spankme:

i cant wait to see you ride.:lmao:

Let's get back on scales. You guys will be surpised to see what mine weighs. I did change and went back to rear exhaust because it was a little loud at the beach break. I haven't weighed it since then, but let's just say it can be weighed on the 300 lb scale. Bill, if you are seeing this, you are not allowed to give up the number.

Sweet... this thread needs to stay on topic... it's been de-railed for to long. :Banane35:

Speaking of light weight. I have never met you Bobby, but I was talking to a guy on the beach last weekend after riding and he said he worked with you (or did some work for you) Tim was his name. Can't remember his last name, but he is doing some airplane composite work at Massy airport right now which is right donwn the road from me. Just thought it was a small world.
