Super Jet Welding reinforcement 62t case for stroker crank

Hi, i'm italian so sorry for the bad english.
I've a 62t case trenched for +6mm stroker, but i would like to trench for +10mm stroke.
My question is if I can add aluminum TIG welded, or risk the deformation of the case?
I see that everyone is using liquid aluminum epoxy and no one brings with welding material.
I have the ability to weld TIG and it would seem like a more robust than the epoxy. Why not ??

I think because you risk warping the cases with the heat and the epoxy holds good enough, plus it's easier.

if you bolt the motor all together with a crank and all you can weld the bottom case with out warping it. i have one the someone epoxy the bottom and it all started falling off. i sand blasted all the crap off made up small plates and welded it all up . no issues.

i made plates to fit the bottom and welded them all in. no pics sold the motor

I would say people use epoxy due to lack of welding equipment/skills/techniques.

Clearly if you can do it it would be better that epoxy in every imaginable way.

Epoxy fails...period. And crank bearings don't like pulverized epoxy going through them!

I still had to epoxy the top halfcase to fit 94mm cylinders.
