West Coast Head for 91 superjet

There is a guy in my area selling what he lists as a high compression Westcoast head for a 650.

Does anyone have experience with the aftermarket heads from Westcoast Performance Parts? Just wondering whether it's worth it.

I've got a 750 sx with a bad bones head and it seems to be faster than my dad's 96 sxi pro (which is all stock). Just wondering whether there will be a noticeable power increase (2 mph, 5 mph...)

Thanks.

The 750 difference is a whole seperate matter but you should notice a difference with that head...ask him what kind of compression it is supposed to produce though. If it requires you to run race gas, it's not worth it. Same if it only produces like 160psi instead of 150, probably isn't worth the money. Generally speaking, you don't want to more than 185psi on premium gas.

here is a picture of westcoast blue head for 650 SN

West Coast head should give you between 170-180 psi compression........perfect for premium pump gas!

170-180 on a 650 or a 701? What numbers do the domes have on the top of them? I'm using 6528 on my 701 with a head gasket and they produce around 175psi.

i will try and get the part number from top of that head:

I'm thinking to run it on my 650, those are the numbers ive been told by dirkdiggler when i was talking to him.

why, you think 180psi in not realistic on SN 650 ?

thanks...

I have in yep 7028 and it puts me at 150 psi. I also have some yep 7025.
what would the 7025 put me at?? I would like to be at 180! That would let me rum pump gas right!
