Ok, I think I figured out my issue I've been having with cooling this thing. Today I pulled the line off the head that goes into the pipe. I could barely blow thru it. So I pulled the line off the pisser and blew back through it and it was a little better but no good. I grabbed a garden house and forced water through it both directions. went from a lite spay coming out to a full line after about 5 minutes going back and forth. The water jaket must have been blocked with someting or just full of sludge.. Is there any recommendation on how to really clean this out. I can't see putting a wire or anything in there. What about putting some water and Dawn soap?? It would remove any oil build up.. Please give me some options or suggestions. I'm going to give it a good run in the am to see if this was really the case. 90% sure this was.

i had one that was all clogged up. I ran an old bilge pump in a container of CLR and pumped it through the pipe for about an hour. The pipe Has run flawlessly ever since.

I hooked up a sump pump to the inlet on the pipe and ran the hose from the back of the head into a bucket with the sump. Took CLR and boiling water and ran it thru. about 3 min later the bucket was empty.. Huh.. I started to get water coming out of the exhaust. So I continued to do this for anouther 20 min or so. Kept addind water. Hooked everything back up and now the pisser is puching a full jet of water.. Wow!!! Luckey I didn't pop this motor. I would suggest anyone buying a used pipe to do this before just sticking it on the ski and taking it out for a run.
