650/X-2 Westcoast pipe question

Can a WC pipe be stripped of paint polished and run like this or will it rust?

Westcoast pipes are cast aluminum. Yes they can be stripped and polished. Aluminum wont rust, it corrodes.

So if it corrodes it should have paint on it? Not run polished?

Ide paint it or powder coat it, unless your rockin the freshwater deal then you don't really have to worry much

My buddy runs his polished, but after every use, we WD-40 the crap outta our skis. The only thing that I dont like about the polished thing is that after awhile if you dont keep it clean, it starts getting a dull dirty look to it. I recommed stripping it and re-powdercoat it any color you want.
