Sano...
I'd do just that. Fill the threads with silicone and let it setup, then cover the head and recess area with another coat of clear rtv silicone. I had a similar problem with my pump inserts being much shallower than the length of my pump bolts. I was turning pump bolts a little too fast and heard some cracking inside the tray. I immediately stopped and filled the threads with rtv and coated the exposed area. No leaks yet. Sorry for thread jack.

Weston, the ski is a beaut. Nice work.

Love the threaded fitting on the one way.

l finally did find my leaks in the hull.Air coming out the 2 front scoop grate inserts.Other than cutting the tray and going inside the hull Weston, you got any good ideas on sealing them up from the outside? Got some ideas, like siliconeing the screws and then maybe putting some silicone on the pad where the screws bolt in.Other than that,IDK.

Does the ski require a special intake or did you make that? Is is a SXR grate modded to fit?

don't ever buy a used kart tank

I INSTALLED A THREADED FITTING AT THE END OF THE "ONE WAY" VALVE TO PREVENT BACK FLOW WHEN REC RIDING

the lanyard is off a skidoo snowmobile allowing the lanyard to be pulled off at Any direction mounted it under the pole for a sleek hide a key effect

tray has no foam
I think I will be adding foam soon.
As for the sealing issues yes on the bolts use type 3 silicone I do this on my SJ as well.
A Modified Sxr grate was used, I still need to do some more work on the grate.

yes the power valves can be capped off they are not in there for tunning. ounce I'm happy with carb and pipe setup I will install the power valves and start tunning those.

Are you going to paint it? You will likely get about 30 minutes of riding per tank with that cart tank.

no paint it looks great out of the mold.
I'm not worried about the amount of ride time i get per tank. If it becomes an issue I will make an aluminum tank that will hold more.
raisenbread, here on the form has the same hull and motor and uses a custom 4 gallon aluminum tank so I know it has room for that.

what was the weight of the hull?
hull hood brakets pump shoe aprox 100 lbs it's kinda heavy but there is plenty of power so it feals pretty light
I just foamed the tray and installed drains my syphin idea didn't rely work and I guess I didn't seal the plumbing/tray area that well
