local boy Kendall Norman laying waste to the field at the National Hare and Hound (desert racing) the other weekend...kept Kurt Caselli 10sec behind him for 80miles...

i normally hate helmet cam vids but they look good when you are attacking desert terrain at near triple digit speeds..

scope the high speed scrub at the beginning...so gnarly..if you ever think u are fast on a moto watch this vid to remind yourself that you arnt...this is not fast forward..

he gave me a pair of boots with one race on them..the soles were worn completely through..after watching this its pretty obvious how thats possible...it takes me two years to wear through a set of soles...

we will see...

kurt got the title last year because kendall wasnt racing, nobody to keep him honest

kurt holeshotted the first round but he destroyed his bike trying to keep kendall behind him...no dust that round

...you are prob right though kendall isnt planning on doing the whole series being a privateer now..

.dust dosnt effect those guys that much..if it did nobody would ever make a pass...remember the race course is 50ft on either side of the stakes...no need to follow..not to mention there are plenty of tech sections where dust isnt an issue..he kept him at 10sec behind the entire time...u think he could have made the move in the rocks..you have to remember kendall is one of the winningest riders in baja and a multi time H&H champ..you cant discredit that

with all the millions of $$ ktm has thrown at offroad racing im sure its frustrating for a guy to show up on a 4year old bike that has an engine that my buddy built in his garage and beat factory ktm where $ isnt an option..

Yeah, Kendall is a cool guy, but teams do not like to deal with his cocky attitude. That is why he has no ride.
And the dust definitely plays a factor in Nationals. I have raced plenty of them. You can only go fast if you can see. That counts for the pros too. A few guys thought otherwise (Colton Sanders) and it didn't help their career too much.

Don't get me wrong, Kendall is fast, but Kurt is faster.

If Kurt and Kendall somehow got on the same Baja/SCORE team this year, they would be unstoppable in the SCORE series

This year will be interesting though! I just like to see a good race and it will be a good rivalry between the two riders.
