my turf is so worn out that the wresting shoes that I normally wear, slip on me, so instead of replacing the turf, I just got some under armor cleats. I haven't tried them with my 1200 hurricane yet on flatwater but in the surf they work awesome. I don't see wearing wrestling shoes ever again but I have like 10 pairs. lol

Wrestling shoes work pretty good especially if you dont want to destroy your turf. If wrestling shoes dont work then indoor soccer cleats are the way to go. But they do a pretty good number on your turf.

Turf soccer cleats. Almost the bite of full cleats but doesn't wear the turf much faster than wrestlers

I used to wear wrestling shoes but on the hunt for something else now. The ninja footholds can really pinch toes when you kick in so need something with more protection.

I use Chuck Taylor high tops... I have fixed footholds though. I also started with wrestling shoes and will not be going back to those...

Not with the way I redid my footholds... the taylors lock in beautifully and comfortably.

are yall wearing socks with yalls shoes xD and dont they start to mildew/stink, i always have worn some sort of water shoe but im also not out there sending it 20 feet high and doing all these fancy acrobatics (dont get me wrong i would if i could xD)

Just wear som good ole Nike running shoes. Your feet will thank you, and you won’t ever have to worry about slipping. I put on a thin set of neoprene socks and nikes and I feel like I do every single day of my life, except I’m ready to ride!

I wear tall neoprene socks as well. More so my legs don't get rubbed raw by the turf in the footholds. As it is I'll never have to shave my lower legs from the hair being rubbed off....which is nice.

Bumping this back up.

After 4 summers my aggressors are starting to crack and I just pulled a lace through the side of them last weekend. Quick torch to a punch, popped a new hole and got on the water but I'm due for a new pair.

I used these shoes with dive socks on my FS2 evo and i was seriously locked in(in a good way) but I'm looking to try something new.

Any other suggestions on specific basketball/runnig shoe models? I'm leaning towards another set of wrestling shoes because I like the ankle support and my 3mm dive socks create enough cushion.

The matflex 5s look like theyd drain well with all the mesh bur it also looks like that mesh would wear through in 1 season. The aggressors are entirely made from thicker solid material with a very rough tread pattern almost like a hiking boot
