Wake board pulls ski around. You can really feel it making hard to keep steady speed. Wake skate is better. If you ride in the flat water and don't carve.

The fun from wakeboarding comes from having a large wake. Why people drop 100k+ on a boat with huge ballasts. I could see a jetski being fun if there where ramps on the lake.

Back when i used to wakeboard more in highschool, we used couches to tow boarders for riding rails, that we usually built in shallower water. You could also whip a rider back around to hit the rails again way faster. To ride behind one just to ride? the boat had to have been unavailible for some reason and it was just for messing around, but not with chicks, cause they didnt fit.
