need to here what most of you are using for a battery so i can decide how to make a part i will be developing .please give m e any feeback Brand ,model or even three side dimesions would be great . just in case you are wondering it is a back flip proof battery box

DEKA ETX-9 I believe.
I love this thing and it has served me better than any battery I have ever had.

someone needs to give this thing a TL test.......I put one in my ski in Dec 07 and literally did NOT charge it all year long riding usually 3 weekends per month..

weighs about 6-7 lbs...just make sure to change to SS hardware as the stuff that comes with it is not..



oh, IDK if it matters..but I had it mounted horizontally and it showed no signs of leakage..

i am running a magna power from extreme powersports. It is a sealed maint. free battery. It has been out of my ski for about 5 months and i hooked it up to make sure it was charged before putting it in my ski and it was still fully charged! The battery was in the ski when I got it and so far it is great!!!

I'd never go back to Odyssey, had issues from not holding charge to fn terminals stripping, etc. I just picked up a jetworks from my local shop and he said they've had issues with them of recent and replacements are on backorder till they get it figured out.

I use Deka's in the sitdowns. I'll have to check out the 9lb one when my last Odyssey takes a crap.

The Magna power is a relabeled Deka. I am using the Deka ETX15 and it is pushing 3 years old and has never needed charging. Check out page two of the PDF for dimensions on all the powersports sizes.

yep...get them at discount auto..I think they are like 85 bucks........

Deka etx16l....been using with a digital TL for a year or so. Have run 3 tanks of fuel on one charge. I've never missed out on riding from the battery going flat. Most guys in OZ run this one too.

I was thinking of trying the ETX15 that I am running now with a TL. I figure since it has 14AH and 190CCA it should be plenty for a days riding before a recharge is necessary.

5 3/4 long 3 1/4 wide 4 tall i am not sure how much it weighs, but i can't be more than 6 or 7 lbs
