I just picked up a Deka ETX16L as well for mine at the advice of people on here. I love it. My budget was pretty low for a battery. I ended up spending exactly 100 bucks out the door, but I am very pleased. as mentioned, its as heavy as the stock battery so if you are looking to save weight, go another route.

I'm going to look ito those but its funny cause I was just at the dealer/stealer and they had a heavy battery for $99 and then they showed me a Lithium battery that felt so light I thought it was fake and it was $219. I dont have that kind of budget but does anyone use a lithium battery.

Lots of people running lithiums, lots of opinions on them as well, I am running a shorai lithium. super light, no problems yet, but I think to get the longevity you need to buy the dedicated charger to do a maintenance charge every now and then. little searching will bring up many battery threads, good and bad.

Same here, all my skis have WPS lithiums from 4seasonspowersports. except I don't do anything to the battery. I charged it before daytona thats it.

Earthx. Only lithium that hasnt crashed on us yet....
What battery....no idea. I need one to fit behind the engine in a Cold Fusion Micro box. Just got off the phone with Anti Gravity. They recommended I don't run theirs!! I want to run a PFP so placement and size is limited. WPS are too big. I have talked to PHP and ballistic is an option. More research for me!
