Actually I was thinking triple full spec 49's would be a perfect match, just need to build a triple carb to twin cylinder intake manifold from balsa wood. Should be simple enough and very lightweight!

Contact XScream and get a set of 44's from them and have Chuckie do his mod to them. Not exactly sure what he does but they work well. I have ran them for years.
LMAO! you'll need to tone down the technology. i agree, modded 44's by an aftermarket carb company, or standard 46's. BJ 44's, or the xscreams.Actually I was thinking triple full spec 49's would be a perfect match, just need to build a triple carb to twin cylinder intake manifold from balsa wood. I agree with Bruce. The 38s are fine. If your riding surf and you already have a light weight hull with plenty of power. I prefer the extra time riding. And honestly Bruce is on a fat heavy SN and still does flips and rolls like no tomorrow.I vote for 38's. I run them on my 771 big bore stock stroke motor.
Easy tune ability, great carb signal, excellent fuel range, good power. Relatively cheap.
Sure you can squeeze a bit more power out of bigger carbs, but the response is usually not as crispy as the 38's and it drinks way more fuel.
He said he had a concern with fuel. Just an opinionWhat's the point of investing in a stroker motor then running 38mm carbs. Terrible idea
thanks KTM
Im running 35cc domes but i also have a new set of 37s at home had i choosen to go back to pump gas.
For the amount of hours i put on ski race gas isnt to big of killer. Guess we'll see how many hours i put on ski next season. I tend to ride my stock X2 when i go out on lake michigan with the group. To get out to the lake we have to take a no wake zone for a few miles n i just dont care to do that on the rocket.
around 210+
yea just brap around... never wide open reallyIf you are doing brapp, brapp freestyle type riding, then higher compression works on pump gas. I doubt you are riding wide open for long on a footrocket especially. Longer high RPM use is what builds up the heat and cuases detonation. My BB781 is at 210ish and run straight prem pump gas without issue. You could definately blend 50/50 if you want to be safe but the more race fuel you add the less power. My circus motor has about 235 and I run 50/50 on it.
