Super Jet What Color Hydrotuf?

What color hydroturf do you guys think I should get for my new SJ.

Its completely stock and probably going to stay that way for awhile.... Not a huge fan of the purple/white but I guess I am more unique!

Should I get purple Hydroturf. or play it safe with black?

I like the matching in the picture, I can decide if that picture is the "Deep Blue" "Deep Purple" or "Purple" What do you guys reccomend.

def go black!! you could also do the side rails in black so get rid of the purple, and it any it left over, you could always turf the chin pad too!! TURF CRAZY

On my fx1 I went with the purple, and it looks nice. I think the fx1 purple is the same as the 96 SJ, but I may be wrong. Only prob with a color, is you can't get B stock.
Also if you email hydroturf they will mail you samples. That is how I picked mine.

You went with regular purple? Or deep purple? Your handle pull looks lighter than my SJ, but the tray looks darker like my SJ.

Im not crazy for the purple but it matches the ski which looks good.

Not footholds at this time.... maybe in the future, my winter build money is all dried up for this year.

Im not going to remove decals and turn all the purple to black which is so common, my ski is so mint and the decals are perfect I would feel to bad removing them. Im going to keep it as is until the decals/plastic goes to crap and then Ill switch out the purple.

Im getting a deal on the SJ kit so I can pick a color.

The OEM black looks good, but the picture with the girl looks sharp also.

I like the black, it should match with anything and will accommodate if/when I get rid of the purple, the only thing I am worried about is if it turns out like this:

Half purple, half black not good IMO

Regular purple. Yeah the handle pole pad has seen some sun.

wow ya def cant do the 2 tone, half purple half black is a no go! im def going with gc4 on holding off and doing it all at once.
i made the mistake of holding off on the foot hold, and turfed it anyway. just got done tearin up my 9 month old turf to put in foothold, i love wasting money

It's really not as scary as it sounds, a complete newb to fibreglass should have no problems installing the footholds. Turfing is way harder! haha

Just get the foot holds and yank all of the decals off. Do something different..... Maybe go with a green and white color scheme. Do yourself a favor and lose the purple. It was not cool even in 96. Black matches everything and everyone else. Watch the videos on "how to install footholds".

HA! I think you got it all wrong!

Ya, the decals on this ski are freakin mint, this SJ has only seen 14 years of a garage.... everyone rips off the decals, you dont see too many like this around anymore.

But at the same time your right, a black/red or black/white would look good.
