So I have the hero 3 white edition and I use my go pro all the time widows movie Maker ain't cutting it anymore what do you guys recommend what's easy to use with good effects and a fair price tag and where to buy it?! Thanks!

Editing was a pain on my PC. I broke down and bought an IMac. It comes with IMovie already installed. Simple, fast, and works great! Now it's actually fun to make videos.

Are you inputting mp4 straight into iMovie and editing, or converting to another format first? What format are you outputting to?

I just stick the SD card in and import to IMovie. That's it! I think it does say mp4, but I don't convert anything. I'm not very tech savy. That's why I like iMovie. Idiot proof!

I've used Cyberlink PowerDirector and Corel VideoStudio. They are both fairly intuitive and have some decent tools. You can get previous versions for like $30 and the newest ones are like $50-$70. Download a trial version to make sure it agrees with your computer first. I don't know why, but my work computer didn't like Cyberlink even though the specs were fine.

iMovie is great for non professional stuff.... if you have a mac. Adobe Premier is awesome. Final Cut Express is great as well, basically the same as Final Cut Pro, just watered down. Final Cut Pro is a professional grade program that is a pretty tough to get the hang of if you aren't doing it day in and day out.

First up grade your pc, buy a new one, the new go-pro3 is mp4 fromat. start there! i'm still working w/ live movie maker its so-so wish for a mac. Or go to go-pro web site for best infor--asap,, work it
