I have a 2012 SJ and am looking in to adding footholds... any suggestions to which ones would be best... my shoe size is 12. I've been looking online and through forums but most I've read are out dated. If I was going to order some right now I would order wamilton "Rickter" Footholds. please any advise would be appreciated.

In my old roundnose sj I had Blowsion Kickers and I loved em! Then I went to The Bob hulls and love their foothold setup the best! I have also put a fair amount of time on my friends Circus and really got use to the footholds on there too.

If you don't want to go the route of really hacking your ski apart to do a Bob style hold or Rickter adjustable hold I would say try to get a hold of Tem at Superfreak(berky screen name) and see if he would make you a set.

That's what I would do if I were in your situation. And then with the freak holds you just pad it to your kick in liking. I have size 12-13 feet too so I thought my opinion mite be helpful.

Good advise Tpain! Freak footholds allow for a ton of padding.Tom21's allow for a lot of padding too. They have been my choice for most foothold jobs.

Thanks Sanoman! I have never had the chance to see or kick in to a set of Tom21's(funny my name is Tom) but I have heard they work great as well!

It's all how you like to stand. Rickter Adjustable or bob adjustable holds are a nice way to find out where you want to be.

And I'm a big fan of a front foothold. But that's just me.
