Custom/Hybrid what freestyle hull would you pick if you got if for free???

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I really do love my freak. I have never ridden another hull that does everything you ask it to do like this one does. I would have gone shorter if I could go back and do it again.

For pure surf riding I would look at a FR2 as well. I have spent a fair amount of time on them in the surf and that is where they excel.

Chad are you still planning on coming into town with Mark and Helen around Surf Slam time? If you are and your bringing your freak I'd sure love to give it a spin!

If I ever get another hull, I'll be doing a lot travelling for test rides. I've grown so accustomed to my short hull that it's difficult to get on a hull that's normal length. The front just seems SO long. Hopping on a ski that has almost a full foot of extra hull in front of the pole makes everything really weird.

I would really like to ride a Superfreak -4.3 or the new Vision hull -4.... those are the only 2 hulls that i would buy.

Can't compare the first Xmetal/Berkey hulls to the Superfreak hulls we now have

The First ones Berkey did for Pat are almost a copy of the SJ hull with some pump mods & little wider here & there... Same small SJ tray.... I Know I bought one of those hulls from Tem yrs ago, which has made its rounds with X members. Ski was hard to ride, unstable & not much fun imo compared to other A/M hulls...

Hands down love the freak badass would be number #1...

All true. I have Josh's old presuperfreak hull. It is amazingly light and rides better now that I modded the bottom deck, but it cannot even be compared to the first generation superfreak and the first generation superfreak cannot even compare to the badass.

My fantasy was not yet complete when my wife saw the enchanted look on my face as I stared at the cieling fan blades rotating and rotating and rotating, much as I would on a Superfreak hull with all of the goodies........
When she said, "what the hell are you thinking about!"

My hull of choice was instantly downgraded to a round nose super jet. I only wish that I never had to spend a penny on it! lol.
