Custom/Hybrid What happens if I remove my water box from the jet ski

550s stock with a waterbox and side exhaust are about the most annoying sound ever on the planet. So if that's legal, and accepted. No waterbox on a tuned 700 is plenty fine with me.

Honestly my biggest concern is ruining the motor if water went through the exhaust and flooded the motor

Well the waveblaster with a 1100 and a modified box and rear exhaust is really loud. Does it sound badass... yes but it can be annoying. Couldnt imagine with no box.

The 1100 blaster that rides with us is actually very quiet. I could probably ask him for pictures of his setup if you guys are looking for a quieter ski.

When we first built my triple blaster I didn't have a waterbox yet but wanted to test ride it anyway. Imagine a top fuel dragster. Now imagine residing inside the exhaust manifold of said top fuel dragster.

Leave it in. if not for anything else, for the noise.

I used 3 inch pvc pipe it's a pain to work with any ideas what other options are out there to run a pipe .does it have to be a heat resistant pipe

It's a Polaris, so remove the waterbox and blow it up. Please. You'll thank me later.

I ran it with the box in and 3inch pipe yesterday wasn't as loud as everyone says..next trip out gonna take off and see what happens ..I did notice that take off was not crisp maybe a jet kit on the carbs will fix that anyone know who jets carbs in tampa Florida and where to get a kit
