Kinda have to agree. Never personally ridden one, but had a friend that bought a new one when they came out. It had a 819 stroker in it, I don't think he ever landed a flatwater flip on it and he didn't have it that long. It didn't look to ride very well either. It's definitely a putt around never leave the cove type of ride.Dump that RIP and never look back. You’ll wish you did years ago.
Sold- Carbon Superfreak Titan hull
Sold 2016 -7 Carbon Superfreak Titan Hull is in good shape overall, turf could use a refresh in the future, bottom was painted last year but trailer scratched it up again a bit. Really like the ski, just haven't been at the lake as much as I thought. With a ported 701 in it right now it's a...www.x-h2o.com
Haven't ridden one, but those look very nice and the build quality looks top notch. I've seen one and talked to a guy at wavedaze or Daytona that had one. A -4 to -5 length with some rocker in the nose as well as the pole mount moved forward in my opinion is the perfect length for an all around ski that will just about do it all with the proper power plant. My -4.3 badass to me is the perfect lake/surf hull. My engine setup is too small for flatwater flips but it is definitely doable off a boat wake. I'm running a 735 with a 148 mag pump. With a 900+ power valve setup, it would flatwater flip for sure. The 735 rocks in the surf.I have one of Phils first gen Inverse hulls with a 701 with bolt ons. I love the hull because of how light it is. I have flipped it in the ocean on some pretty big waves but it would take some more power to get it around off a standard boat wake. Having said that I believe he is making the newer batch of hulls a bit shorter and wider. Regardless, I will be at Rave and your more than welcome to take mine for a ride if you want.
If I am thinking of you you are "Quacking" about, that not a fair assessment. He got no skillz!!!!!!!!!! LOLKinda have to agree. So, if I have this correct: If you ride in a pond (effectively), get a short hull cuz the fun you have there is flipping, spinning, similar self-powered gymnastics. If you ride in water that’s dynamic (great lakes, oceans), or want to ride more than 50 yds from your launch, short hull not so great anymore. Am I summarizing correctly?Short wide hulls are the best bet for future riding. There is no reason to get a long hull unless your racing or surf riding the majority of the time.
No. Not all. A short hull can rip all over . I ride all over shasta on a xfr with a dasa 1100. Hit boat wakes. My own wake. Rip in coves. All that. I don't get fatigued or a bad back. I'm not supermanSo, if I have this correct: If you ride in a pond (effectively), get a short hull cuz the fun you have there is flipping, spinning, similar self-powered gymnastics. I certainly won't deny that hahaIf I am thinking of you you are "Quacking" about, that not a fair assessment. He got no skillz!!!!!!!!!! LOL
The Inverse hulls look superjetty but most definitely are not. They are shorter, wider tray, pole mount moved forward, rocker nose and are much much wider. I believe there's some other changes but I can't list them off top of my headPersonally have seen a xfr with 701 plate flat water flip. B pipe. Head. Msd. 155 pump. Multiple times. There is a video on Instagram also. I can literally stand on my xfr with the engine off.
Those inverse hulls look cool. But very superjetty. Like mentioned. Need a total rework to become like modern hulls. It was mentioned he's making them shorter and wider. So he must have learned that also.
