I'm using slow hardener and its relatively chilly in my garage. (40's?)
It takes a solid 48 hours for everything to dry nice and crispy.

@Vumad (I think) the resin itself really isn't that smelly. I haven't tried to warn it up because there's been enough useable liquid in the bottle for my needs. The harderener on the other hand... Wooooo baby. Hold on to your brain cells.

My second batch worked out after I cleaned the pumps. Had to of been a mixing error
That's what told the wife. Lol

I layed up epoxy at night medium hardner and the next morning it was still wet. 50degrees. What is it every 5 degrees below their desired cure temp of 77 then time doubles. So if it's 72 then instead of a two hour cure it's 4 and if it's 67 then it takes 8 hours and 62 then it's 16 hours. So on so on. It goes something along those lines. I'm not exact on the numbers but ya get the point.

I had the same issue with some epoxy resin I ordered from Blowsion many years ago. It arrived to me frozen solid and I had to use the water trick to get it to go back to liquid. IIRC, I never ended up using much of it just because I didn't trust it afterwards.

i still have some system 3 epoxy i bought in 1988 iirc.got hard so did the hot water thing and it's still fine and hardens exactly as it did when new.mfg was not concerned one bit by it's age.

Heat it up, good as new. If you try to use the still-liquid part without melting in the crystallised bit, it might not set up (ever), since some of the resin compounds crystallise out first.

Spent a good few hours cleaning off gelled epoxy that hadn't set after 3 days...
