I would have tried it but but ATP came out with it not long after I bought the 201. Since I've already got the 201 I'm not too eager to spend another $200 to experiment with it.
But someone buying a grate for the first time should deff do it!
I prefer a less aggressive intake grate for waveriding..it allows the tail to break free easier and makes the ski feel looser overall..I never have a problem having it hookup when I need it. It's all about weight distribution..I run an old pro tec..ones that don't have the scoop hanging down below the hull work best
SchhhhHH, don't be tellin these new guys about some useless $15.00 junk grate. The real surf riding guys need aggressive grates to ram in extra beach sand, shells, rocks, whatever on every beach landing. Kill that mag $$ pump & impeller....
