You know, I think the target customer for those type of products is probably the uber-rich dude from Dubai, that new oil tycoon from Russia, some old money from Brazil, etc - NOT people that scrounge message boards for used parts.
I have a feeling that those things are probably selling just fine.

Then that's a lot of mark up. These other distributers are buying the total loss systems for $900, so its not like there giving them away

outch, its why i told ATP was cheaper, but now with the XJ link that make more sense to me, never and never I will spend 600$ more for +or- the same system.

Retail for the total loss system from JEGS is $1080. Like I keep saying... I understand the jetski industry doesn't sell mass quantities so they have to have a higher markup to stay in business but at what point does a jetski supplier cross the line between making a profit and gouging the ever living piss out of their customers?

I'd think 3 systems exposed to the elements would still last longer than one in a waterproof case considering my old single channel system that I bought used from a member on here has been going strong for over 4 years. I don't even know how long that guy used it.

Pf is buying them at around $1285 like almost all dealers and the tring to get near 20% markup .
Almost all industries make alot more than 20% of the everyday items we buy from all the other business I have ran over the years .
I do agree none needs to make 900 to sell an ignition . But I don't think they are trying to .

Thats crazy! Are you buying them direct from MSD? I know wholesalers the sell them for $900

About the MSD TL enclosure, im building a 100% waterproof setup. That holds, brain, starter relay, 2 coils, wiring and a Shifty MSD module.
I will post pictures when i get home from work, and get it done (20th june)
Until that, i just have this picture to give an idea.
If interested i can help people getting the parts and/or bulind the box for them.
