Super Jet what is stock 62t jetting?

Im just wondering what stock 62t/62t jetting is? i swaped one into my 90 and the stock 38's are off a different ski so i want to confirm jetting.

thanks,

They have staggered main jets in most of those motors. The rear carb will have a larger main jet to make up for the increased load of a heavier sit down ski on the rear cylinder.

any idea what they are? and or is it ok to un stagger them being that its in a smaller hull now?

any idea where fuel screws should be also?

thanks,

I want to say 130 and 135 mains. Don't see why you couldn't un-stagger them.

The fuel screws for the high and low speed Might be hidden under tamper proof caps depending on the model year. You may have to carefully drill these caps to access the adjusters.

Without seeing them I couldn't tell ya.

More importantly the jetting should compliment any other mods you have done. Pipe/head timing advance etc.

Often the rear cylinder is a little hotter on the 701/760 engines. You may find that the rear plug will be lighter colored than the front when both carbs are set the same. Opening the top screw will do the same as changing the main jet.

its all stock motor wise other than an FP alum waterbox, the screws are adjustable and the guy i bought the motor from said they were from a different ski? ill have to pull it apart today and look and see what jets are in there. the plugs looked a little dark but when i checked the wash it was weird? looked lean but maybe i was just running to much oil? 44:1 with Klotz and 91 pump.

fuel screws were set at H:1.25 turns out L:1.5 turns out

here is a few pics of the wash:

checked the jetting today, 67.5 pilots, 1.5 n&s, pto is a 130 main, mag is 120 main. purt sure thats stock jetting.

think i should change it at all? or am i ok?

thanks,

That's what came out of mine. I was told the motor that came in the ski was from a sit down.

did you just run it with that or did you swap it to somthing else?

the main reason im trying to figure it out is im going to be re ringing it and tossing on a milled head, just wanted to start safe and work my way down... i may just toss some 70 pilots, 2.0 n&s, and even carbs at 130 mains and see how it runs/wash is and go from there.

anybody else with input on it?

70/130 is stock on both carbs.

Generally, a stock sj adding a b-pipe will jet-up to 75/135

This may help (but not with mods)
