Other What is the BEST Dry suit???

Ive had a few over the years . Picked up an oneil last fall and its great . The suit is neopreme up to chest and nylon upper with zipper accross back. Seals are thick and dont strangle me like some suits of past did . I have ridden every weekend all winter in N.C. except thanksgiving . Got it on sale at overtons . Regular price is around $400 and worth every bit .

Slippery subzero. If you can find one and aren't afraid to replace seals. Love mine.

The OSS drysuit that Watcon sells is excellent for jetskiing. Better than the old Slippery/Moby. Cost around $400

Front entry is a great option ..... Rear entry can be tough to get in and out of by your self. My zipper got stuck a few years ago and I had to drive home in it. I have a barefoot international (made for barefoot sking ) can really take long term punishment . If I were in the market I would look at Neo or Neo/ nylon combo for better mobility .

I ordered the O'Neill Boost and it should be here today. I've read nothing but good reviews about it and its only $375. Although considering the warm weather we are still having down here, I'm not sure it will get much use! Oh well, better to have it and be prepared than to miss a day of riding.

I bought an Oneill boost last year and it is sick. Matt you will love it. you may need to cut a little bit off of the neck to prevent getting choked out at first.
It will make those "its is waaaay too cold to ride days a pleasure".

i have the watcon and its solid and superlight. amazing riding in pajamas! haha

make sure you get one with attached booties, for sure the way to go.

I have the Watcon one and love it!
Its great riding in your sweats, then when everyone else is done riding and all attempting to get out of wet suits, you unzip, and hop in the car and your ready to go!

I have been hearing great things about Kokatat ($1200) but Stolquist B-pod with the neoprene neck seal is much better priced ($525)

kokatat is deff the best out there, gore tex,has booties and a zipper to piss. not the cheap route but the company basically has a lifetime warranty on them,Ive never seen this level of customer service from any other company.. warmth is not over rated...being cold just sucks

I received my Boost last week and it agree, it is awesome. The neoprene neck is pretty long but I read to fold it down inward (opposite of a turtle neck) and that made a good difference in comfort. After I burped the suit I did a few head first dives into my pool and swam around for about 30 minutes. When I got out only a tiny bit of water was on the collar of my undershirt. I was amazed it worked so well. Otherwise I was completely dry and warm.

I thought about the attached booties too but then I figured its just another point that could get damaged if I step on something sharp or somehow rip it. So I opted for these 5mm neoprene hi-tops instead and they are super comfortable and easily keep my feet warm. Plus they offer some protection when lifting in the foothold and are very grippy.
