I like OEM GP mounts. the surface area of the metal and rubber is bigger for a larger glue surface.

I do too for the rear ones and do run them....but fronts need SJ mounts if u are using Kenney Keepers.....

Taylor curtis swears by the wamilton's mount... which i have heard is the same as the monkey grip... but who truely knows???

i agree with him 4 at a time. one at a time is a no go unless its to get back on the water that weekend.

it's not about replacing 4 at a time. It's just hard to break mounts when your ski doesn't leave the water.:dance:

my XL700 mounts were too big around for the keepers to fit....must be bigger than than GP's ? or did u mod it ?

only way i could tell mine were monkey grips was that the packaging said so... monkey grips come individually packaged with a big monkey on the front.

Dunno, they were on the shelf and I put them on. Definitely not SJ mounts with the indention in the rubber. I remembered you said the keepers wouldn't fit. when they did I was glad but didn't look into it.

i used to break them all the time when I'd install used ones...then started putting new ones in and no longer a problem
then someone turned me on to GP mounts...:shhh: Raider mounts will work as well
