I 90% sank my ski last year (stupid hood latch broke...), got a some water in the engine, blew it out on the beach, it rode fine for the rest of the weekend. That was my last ride and the ski was winterized and garaged for the winter, the tank still had about 1.5 gallons of gas in it.
This year I put a pipe in, jetted at 120p, 140m (I have a 145 but need to port the manifold before I go that big) 65g spring stock n/s
1.5 turns on both.... I am sure I need a better setting, maybe out more????
Today I started the ski up by using the primer, fired up like a champ, bogs out quickly the throttle doesn't really keep it going. BUT I noticed the manifold was spraying water clear out of the ski, this is the second time this happened so I decided to replace the gasket rather than tighten the bolts again. I pulled the manifold off and I saw a little bit of milky stuff (pictured) the front cyl is clean (pictured).
Do I have water in my bottom end?
Was it my crappy manifold gasket leaking water in and it seems like there is a problem?
Do I have a little bit of water in my gas? I am going to change this first to fresh gas.
I might as well port match the manifold while its out, and throw in the 145m jet, the old gasket on manifold picture shows the area that needs to be removed correct?
Thanks
