Does anyone know what this thing I have circled on my ebox is?

Temperature sensor. Normally inserted in the OEM head. Typically deleted for modified setups.

Temp sensor fail-safe.
Since you have an aftermarket head it’s not installed and stuck away in the back. Almost all aftermarket heads didn’t have a spot for the temp sensor.

Yeah, rev limit I believe.
