I am repaired my FX1, and found a red wire from the rear panel to the handpole

What is this??

Red cable: steering
Black cable: throttle
Cable with 2 connectors: start/stop switch wires
Dark grey cable? Possibly a trim cable for the nozzle? Where does it go? If you have 2 levers on the handlebars, then it's a trim cable.

Dark grey cable: steering

when i can, i post some pictures of mi jet, because now is prone over a rack.
in this pictures is posible see, the red cable, into for the down zone of the hand pole but don´t go out in the hand bar.

The grey cable goes into the bilge suction line. The red cable goes into the steering cable line and is the right size for a steering cable while the grey is too small, more like a trim cable. You need to show us the pump area.

im a little confused over what the confusion is. seems pretty obvious in the pictures posted what each cable is. Red is steering, grey is trim, black is throttle...

He says the red is not the steering because it doesn't come out the top the pole I think?

We need more pics or he needs to investigate a bit more because that looks like a normal setup with a trim cable to me.

The dark grey cable is very clearly your trim cable. In your second picture, it is shown connecting to the trim lever.
Red cable is steering. The reason you don't see it at the top of the pole is that the red sleeve of the cable stops right before the cable itself exits the pole.
I'm not sure what the mystery is here. :biggrin:
This is a very standard and obvious setup

well, whatever the case may be, just pull all the cables out and route them like stated above. "when in doubt rip it out"

tha reason that i want to know what is this cable is that is rotten and i don´t know is must be chaged or not.
Now the jet is in the rack in prone for paint, when i will finish it, i will put some pictures of the jet and the cable.
