let me look and see. what size would you need?

Frosty,
What's the deal on those ear-flap hats they were wearing in the World Series? They gonna come out with them for the public?

Job-wise I'm a Sr. Business Analyst for Chase Card Services.. dialy functions are technical documentation and SAS programming for most of Marketing's initiatives. You know, the checks and other BS offers you get solicited for...

Sounds boring and it is... but pays very well and I can come & go as I please and have little to answer to.

Gil, can i get you to take my brand new dodge ram 1500 4x4 and have it fixed. It's got a pretty bad shudder in 4x4 hi that no dealer around here can seam to fix... WTF man!!!

shudder in 4wd w/ the front diff locked on dry pavement.....if the front diff is locked the wheels can not turn at diff speeds as they have to when making a turn...this causes them to wash out the front tires inorder to make the turn.....if your old truck didnt do that the 4wd wasnt working properly.....

im a auto tech at a gmc, buick, pontiac, caddy, dodge dealer....moneys ok hard work

i understand this... however, it does it even in slippery conditions and in deep snow.

my old truck on pavement was fine, in a straight line, turning is another story. This truck does it in any condition in a straight line at all speeds.

this is what i have researched:

Due to a design issue with Dodge Ram front differential and suspension, some owners may experience a vibration in the front end when in 4x4 mode, or a violent shaking vibration of the front wheels when going over a bump at speed. These two symptoms are often called a "death wobble", but actually appear to be two different problems with the Ram truck.

The 4HI mode vibration is a vibration or shudder that occurs when accelerating in 4x4 high mode. This affects Dodge Ram 1500 non mega cabs; Dodge couldn't discover why their stock trucks would do this for some customers. The solution for Dodge was to state that there is no problem and that all of the new Rams will shudder or shake when in 4x4 high. This symptom appears isolated to 2006-2008 1500 non-Mega Cab model trucks and when in 4-hi mode.

The steering wobble or vibration has to do with the steering/ball joint equipment.
Dodge had released TSBs on this problem - Daimler Technical Service Bulletin # 22-005-06. This affects 1994-2008 Dodge Ram 1500MC/2500/3500 4x4's.

we do some with ear flaps... i'd have to look to see what we are stocking these days. typically we only bring in a limited volume of those sorts of cap and once they are sold out they are not replenished.

wow shakes even in a straight line>? thats a bit different, I work on the gmc line so im unfamilar w/ dodge tsb's, I would say keep calling the dodge cust support number. If nothing else they may give ya some free stuff for your trouble, and only use 4wd when you have too, we have a ton of customers here that try and use it in the rain......
