650/X-2 What kind of speed should I see

I'm running an '87 650sx with: west coast head, west coast manifold, k&n air filter, mikuni 44mm sbn carb, stock pipe (water blocked off), skat trak prop, Fischer grate, and an ocean pro plate.

Just wondering what kind of speed I should be seeing with these mods. Also, what would the stock speed be for the ski, I'm assuming not to much different.

One last question, would these mods get me close to keeping up with my friends stock rn superjet?

NO, the 650SX is not a speed demon. Ride it for what it is and have fun.

stock is 39mph, so if everything is running correctly id guess 42ish, which a stock 701 i believe is like 44-46?

Put a phone in a dry-pak and GPS it. Low 40s but a lot of factors can change that.

The best mod to keep up with a superjet is to buy a different hull. The SX doesn't handle very well. However, if you are set on the sx hull, you could try adding front and rear sponsons.

42-44mph, put a factory pipe on there and 50-51mph the stock pipe is the biggest peace of garbage
