What misc parts should I add to my superjet.

So as some of you know I bought a 2018 superjet. I am looking to small things here and there to add to make it better. Example would be maybe bilge pump, better cooling, a new prop. I’m not looking at engine performance mods right now just to be clear. So far I put ride plate, intake grate, 0 degree bars, blowsion throttle lever, new grips and blowsion pole spring. I’m debating new turf and foot holds but will be finding and paying someone to do that kind of work.

Anything else you guys think is a must have to keep everything peak shape?

From the list of what you haven't done, just do a bilge pump. Position it underneath the midshaft, they make a bracket for this. If you want to do footholds I'm guessing you have the ski to jump wakes instead of racing buoys so I highly recommend fabbing a bracket or purchasing a bracket to use an 07- steering cable. It has more throw and the difference is trying to turn a school bus compared to a sports car for rec riding. ...if you race any sort of buoys, definitely skip the footholds.

Also ditch the chokes and install a primer kit instead.

Yeah I just rip around and jump wakes. Can you provide a link for the bilge setup and bracket? I’ll look around here on the forum for the how to steering bracket setup. I don’t know much about the steering mods. I want the footholds but don’t k ow anyone to do the work.

Do the work yourself and add a bilge and limiting rope. Do not mess with the chokes or cooling etc unless you are going to be adding a pipe etc.

I just ordered the auto bilge pump, bracket, switch and hose and nozzle. Where is the best place to have the water come out? I will be doing motor work eventually and I never use the choke. I will pickup the limiting rope.

Just out the side, whatever looks cleanest, shortest hose distance from pump to pisser.

Auto bilge isn't really what you want unless you have dual pumps. One manual one auto. Manual pump is fine, you just turn it on when you head out to ride surf or whatever and leave it on. Pump motor doesn't get hurt running dry.

Ok. I’ll run the auto in my sit down. I didn’t know you could turn them on and leave them on.

I would say quicksteer mod. Drill out a new hole closer to the steering nozzle and attach there. Free and makes a world of difference

I’m stupid so can you explain everything or show me a link. What does it do exactly? Make it steer quicker?

X2 on swapping the steering. I don't know how far Northumberland, PA is from Collegeville, PA but I've done a dozen or so foothold installs and would be happy to give you a hand. Just bring some beer

Definitely driving distance. I’d be happy to pay more than just beer.

Also I don’t know anything about this steering swap. Can you point me in the direction of a how to link?

Ovp steering is a great upgrade as well. I just bout the blowsion universal ovp. Buddy’s have it and it’s a night and day upgrade. I’m in the middle of doing the blowsion kicker wells and it’s pretty straight forward. Then again I do auto body and paint for a living so I have all the tools to make it easier. I’ll post more pics as I go. If anyone is located around Portland Oregon and doesn’t wanna pay blowsion the 2200 to do wells let me know
