I thought i read that PF doesnt give you reall big gains unless your running over 920cc

I thought I read or was told the same thing. Can anyone speak to this point and verify if this is valid? I was considering getting a powerfactor pipe with my SS865, but was told it would have been a waste because my motor wasn't big enough.

So what are the advantages/disadvantages of the atp flame in comparison to the msd TL?
As for the mag upgrade.. what are the performance diffs of setback/non setback?
I'm thinking of spending over $1500 to replace my 144mm 62t pump for a 144mm 12v mag setback.. otherwise, save myself $1000 and get the new thrust 144 12v nonsetback stator section? spend the extra $$ on the atp flame?

The ATP TL sits sealed in the stock ebox and is programmable by laptop, and has two switchable curves.
The sealability is a HUGE advantage for me. Never worry about saltwater.

Got my 144mm 12 vane set back skat mag pump on Friday. So glad I went with that first! Rode today with it and what a difference! I was getting SO much more height on my flatwater flips. The hookup is unbelievable! Getting the flame ignition in a week or so. Can't imagine what that will be like

I have not run the thrust/solas set up so I could not tell you. I know I got a KILLER deal on this pump ready to run with shaft, bearings and new prop from Fast Elements and couldn't be happier!

If you are propped correctly now, then adding the flame you will quite possibly need to move to a taller prop.

Fast Elements is gonna work with me so if I need to change props they will just do a swap.
