i'm moving away from the beach because off work so i was looking at getting a x2 for flat water fun......i currently ride a blaster in the surf...

Make sure you get one with the linkage type steering. The ones with the other type are pretty much like having no steering at all. A UMI type steering setup is a must with an X2. You will break the stock steering and the adjustment feature on the stock steering feels like the handle bars are going to fall off.
