That is just sexy.

They build the 16 mm stroker with a billet aluminium crankcase :bananajump::Banane36::eek2:

I'm thinking about getting a stroker....

about 860cc lamey...

with a good trim and practice - does anyone think I could pull a backflip off a setup wake???

This would be on a stock weight and length hull....

I hope to make one of a boat wake, with my 735 and trim!

saving for a shorter hull though..

I personally think it can be done fairly easy with a stock hull but not with the stock length. The shorter you go the easier it gets but then the less friendly it is to ride around. I rode a -4 stock hull yesterday with a 701, pipe, prop and normal little things and it felt like I was riding my xft. I feel with a good trim, this setup and getting the setup wake perfect you could nose them in. Just my opinion though.

Can I suggest cutting back the ride plate and BACK END of your superjet hull?! I saw a mate's ski yesterday that he's been talking about building at home.. stock sj, rear cut back 100mm (4"), almost in line with the start of the reduction nozzle! Trim system and home ported 701! He was pullin' bakkies off 1 foot chop!

i seen those hulls at the kings cup last year in Thailand , they look like a super jet but they are smaller , a lot shorter and weigh nothing
the guy i know runs one of the Thai teams just ordered a complete ski $ 30,000 usd

im with e roc wilbs , im nosing in on a stock lenght sj with a 735 x-scream shortblock with b-pipe, charging flywheel, intake carbs, waterbox, x metal trim, hooker impeller. then lightened up and reinforced . ski weighs 300 rtr thats with only 2 days of riding my first sj.

Are you doing this off your own setup wake?

Hey all, im currently in the process of my 08+ suprjet flatwater build.. -4" off the rear and big curved rocker nose mod.
I want to know what is the best way to go about modding teh intake? Is it better to fill the intake area in like a blowsion pump stuffer does to seal up the shaft area, reducing cavitation?

What's the best intake grate to use? I big-ass top loader? Can the angle of teh intake ramp be changed/glassed in anyway to improve hookup?

Im asking these questions because I've seen only photos of all the A/M flatwater hulls, all their intakes seem to look different to the 08+ SJ, seeing I have no access to check out a Q8, Superfreak, FS1 etc, I'd like the option of the people here? Possibly photos may help?

haha. all I have say is that it ain't a flatwater backflip unless you do it via your own set-up wake. Learn to make and hit a set-up wake even before you think about flatwater backflips.

In a superjets case, all the bolt ons, a rear hull cut, super short ride plate, ported 701, b-pipe, total loss and trim it is able to be done.

Everyone says power but even a 1000cc engine won't get someone around that doesn't know what's going on.

So getting back on topic..... You should have a solid crack at a backflip with a b piped motor with total loss and a stock hull provided you're using boat wakes. I've found that shortening the pole will help you pull the nose around a little faster but I can't ride with a shortened pole because it kills my back. Trim will help too but if your plan is to flip off a boat wake, you want to limit your trims throw. Extra trim speeds up the rotation but you lose height so you need to find a happy medium. Lastly, if you aren't kicking into your footholds, fix that. I just bought all the stuff to fix mine. I don't come out of my footholds under normal conditions but they're loose so whenever I go inverted, it's tough to stay in the holds. I want to straighten my legs but every time I do right now, I pop out of the holds so my form has to suck just to prevent coming out.

Uh, a flip is a flip it doesnt matter if you make a floating ramp to do it. Im going to try and flip my super jet off of a boat wake this year, Ive got a 771 but not 100% sure ill be able to pull it off

here is my first ever attempt at a back flip , 701 , b-pipe , foot holds , short hand pole and trim

someone with skill would have done it easy i had been riding ski's for only 6 months
