So I have a 1995 square nose Superjet with just a b pipe and a impeller and the guy I bought it from said he was running premium gas through it should I just keep running premium or is it ok if I run 87?
Fyi: On the west side of MI, it’s currently about $1.99/gal for regular, and $2.60/gal for premium. 90 octane ethanol free is about $2.70/gal. Thanks, gasbuddy!
So, 10 gal is $20 vs $26 or $27.
You shut your damn filthy mouth sir with that cheap gas talk.
hahahahahahahahahYou shut your damn filthy mouth sir with that cheap gas talk.
I would bet it would run the same on 87 octane. Stock superjets love it
Just like the manual says.
I had an 08 superjet that I bought new in AZ but used in salt water in Socal and rode a few days a week. It was stock (motor) except for a pipe and jetting and a modded stock cdi. When gas was near 5$ a gallon I ran 87octane and Wal-mart supertech 40/1 and continued running it till I wore it out after like 5 years. Honest. it still ran.I tore it down rebuilt and sold it to a friend and upgraded to a Superfreak. I would regularly change the spark plugs and gap them tight and it ran and ran.To be on the safe side 91 is a better choice but I just couldnt help but to chime in on my experience.Have either of you ran what your recommending ?
His ski is not stock and he just bought it. The ski may have other mods he is not aware of that previous owners did and got lost along the way..
That’s what happened to me... I ran 87 octane in a non stock super jet I just bought, ran great and took the top of the piston off.....
Also others riders, Theirs always a freind that wants to try your ski, once out there, they always seem to hold it pinned to see how fast it will go........
91 is my minimum now lol
