what octane gas?

Just finished installing a B pipe, ADA girdled head with 35cc domes on my 2004 superjet. ADA says a minimum of 91 octane is required. I have 90 octane rec gas available near me. My next option is 93 octane with ethanol. I really hate using ethanol gas in any of my toys. Will the 90 octane rec gas work or should I use the 93 octane? I cant' find any higher octane rec gas anywhere around here in west Michigan.

I'd firm your getting 185psi and if it was me I'd be fine on 90.

Your minimum octane will drop if you tune the top carb adjuster rich of peak rpm and make sure there is never any air in the fuel lines. Ignition timing is the other area that directly affects the engines minimum octane requirement.

90 is fine, 93 with ethanol is fine too. I run way more compression with what is about 94 octane.
