It doesnt have bad bottom end by any means, esp with water injection its right there with a B, however there is more maintance and prone to cracking cylinders with a type 4.

It's a Type 4. I run this pipe on my limited 701 and it has great bottom end. (I have ridden strokers with less bottom end!!!!) If you know how to tune, this pipe kicks!! Yes a girdle is the only way to go with a stock cyl. I learnt the hard way!!:banghead:

This ski was built to run in the limited class (got used very little and never raced), what would need to or should be changed for freestyle.
*It has Novi's, Msd enhancer, the type 4 w/ injection, prop (pitch currently unknown), op rideplate, intake grate, and protec head

You will want footholds, a one way valve and a short ride plate. The cyl. is going to be ported for top end. But you should be able to adj. the water injection and make it rip pretty good.

Nothing. Save your money, that's a good setup. Get footholds.

I ran that pipe on my 701 square and loved it, alot more than my b pipe. I switched to a b pipe cuz I kept blowing couplers on the dry and wanted to actually ride the stupid thing. And between my limited sxr and other stock sxrs, I didnt want to have a 4th ski to wrench on. But it is a great pipe when set up right.

IMHO, the only real good reason to go with a B-Pipe is the reliability (and throttle response).
I had a Speedwerx dry pipe (the racing version) that made a whole lot of power. I went to the B-pipe because I kept blowing O-rings and got tired of it. I could have fixed it, but the B-Pipe was just reliable from the bolt on.
