What Pitch Do You Run In Your Yamaha Magnum Pump ?

I Mainly Ride Freeride Freestyle Lakes And Rivers . What Are Your Opinions On This Pump And What Motor Mods And Impellar Combos Work For You ?? I Have A Yamaha Superjet With A Ported 767 Motor.. Lots Of Other Mods. Thanx For Your Help !! the pump is a 140 set back 12 vane

What size Pump? 140 or 144 ? 6, 8, 12, or 14 Vane?

I had the same pump a couple of years ago and I thought 16/21 was good. I had one of my impellers re-pitched to 14/19 and I thought it was too low. Dave at Impros also said I should go a little higher when I was getting it re-pitched.

I like it. But I'm at 4700 ft. elevation so I need a lower pitch. Yet when I go to sea-level it seems to work good too. There are so many factors to consider in prop selection. RPM's-for your porting/pipe/nozzle are all in play. Maybe I just got lucky... ? :burnout:

Thinking about it again, it might be a 15/19... hmmm I'll have to check the box when I get home.

I just had a 13/21 installed in my 140 12-vane. I have my bottom end and it still will run on top too.
